On April 8th, the Transference Brokers Oliver Freire and Edgar Valverde, arrived to Decazeville (Aveyron, France) to begin the second week of visits to companies and research centres in the Mecanic Vallée area.
After arrival in Decazeville, the Transference Brokers did a meeting with Hervé Danton and Camille Esquerré in Mecanic Vallée office, in order to organise the visits for the next weeks in the region.
During the first week in Aveyron, the Transference Brokers visited two research centres such as PFT Conpim from Decazeville and IUT from Rodez, which provided a view of the most interesting areas in the region as well as useful information about the technology transfer. In the same way, they met with Ad’Occ, the Agency for Regional Economic Development of Occitanie, which has a large network of collaborations and which can therefore help TBs in the development of the technology transfer network in the region.
The Transference Brokers made visits to companies in the area such as STS group : Société Technic Services, EDF and MET Énergie.
At the end of the meeting with MET Énergie, a press conference took place, in which both the TBs, Camille Esquerré and Hervé Danton explained the TurboSudoe project to the local newspapers as well as how it is proceeding.
On the second week, the Transference Brokers had the opportunity to visit the R. Bosch factory in Rodez (Aveyron), dedicated mainly to the manufacture of common rail injectors in diesel vehicles, and one of the most advanced factories in the region. They also visited a company dedicated to engineering projects in Rodez, INSE and a high-tech company focus on the plasma injection called 2PS.
In the city of Albi, they visited the Engineer School of Mines and Telecommunications and the Serious Games Laboratory which belongs to the University Institute of Champollion.
At the end of the week, they met Adfine and AFNOR.
